I always enjoy reading the success stories on your newsletter and I thought it was time that I shared the story of my experience at date.com. I became a member about a year ago and enjoyed it immediately. Because I live in a foreign country it’s not easy to meet people so meeting women this way seemed like a lot of fun. And that was really my intention, just to have a laugh and try to spread some smiles? And that’s what happened. I really enjoyed hearing from all of the women who were keen to have electronic friends, and the e-mails were flying all over the world. But there was nothing serious going on and I never expected it to either.

There was one person however who became my special friend, we confided in each other about our experiences on the net and wrote frankly to each other about our lives. As the days and months went by it became clear to me that I was falling for this woman in a big way, her and I were having some of the most meaningful communications that I had ever known. As time went by both of us began to fade away from all of the other people we had met at date.com and concentrate on each other, we swapped mobile numbers and began to send IMs back and forth. Although we live on different continents, I in Europe and she in Africa, the distance didn’t seem to matter and we were soon sharing all the details of our daily lives with each other. The more I knew about her the more I was falling in love with her?

Nearly 9 months after I first expressed an interest in her at date.com we met for the first time when I traveled to her country to visit her? We spent a week together and it was marvelous, it was a fantastic time for both of us, except at the end when we were both in tears!
I knew this was the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I asked her if she would be my wife, she said yes!

Nothing can discourage us, we face many difficulties because of the differing cultures we come from but they only serve to make us more determined to be together. Our plan now is to get married in her country in the spring next year and then to travel to my country to begin our new lives together? Date.com changed both of our lives; we speak of it fondly to each other and want your members to know that it works! It works beautifully.
